Members of Operation Firing
for Effect and supporters,
Be advised that I will not consider supporting the propose amendment, the DoD Authorization Bill (S. 1042 that Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) and Tim Johnson (D are planning to present to the senate.
1. Why because If our U.S. representatives can spen their time and the taxpayers money on a new propose bill why not use their energy , on the existing bill that was already introduce like S331, that call for full mandatory funding? ( Don't get me wrong I know the umbrella is big when we talk about mandatory funding, so are the life's that are sacrifice each day don't you think ? )
2. As Congressman, Bob Filner, said when I ask him why wouldn't they vote on this bill his answer was because it cost to much, so I'm asking you the Veteran what is to much?
3. My friends I don't believe in a half win, we been half winning since both parties have been trying to change what our founding fathers has given this grate nation, think about it.
4. One more thing when was the last time we had mandatory funding for the VA? What makes us except somethin that is still going to be ration? like the Do D 1042 that is going to be presented July 27, 2005, watch how easy they will get the votes , its a no brainer, ask yourself why it was so easy?and not easy for s331 full mandatory funding, just go back to 2. your question will be answered there. Do D 1042 discretionary/ mandatory funding or S331 Full mandatory funding I stand to fight forS 331 with out a doubt.
5. I ask every Veterans
to reach out and show full support and start calling on your representatives
to be a co sponsor for S331 and don't give up we can do it.
they need your support to make it happen.
Gene D. Simes
