UNITED STATES VETERANS

Veterans perform courage in uniform

Enlisted or drafted, gung ho for our
country

Code of honors lives in America

Courageous strength beyong the call of
duty

Brave are the men and women who
risk their lives for other hearts to live

Shattered dreams become real

Bodies are consoled by fellow men

Nightmares and flashbacks conquered
in grief of war

Suvivors return back home

All heroes within this poem
