Congress should know by now that Americans are deeply concerned about the recent scandals in Washington. A recent CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll (January 10, 2006), showed that “corruption ranked among the concerns most often cited by those polled” – second only to concern about the war in Iraq and terrorism. Of voters polled, 96 percent said that corruption will be an important factor in their vote for Congress this year.ACTION NEEDED
