Dear Ocean Outfall Group (OOG), dedicated to ending the 301(h) waivers held by the Orange County Sanitation District (OCSD), San Diego, Goleta, and El Morro.

This past week, the Coastal Commission, under intense pressure, agreed to approve the San Diego waiver. See news articles:

Thanks to OOGers Larry Porter, Doug Korthof and Joey Racano for speaking up against the waiver at the Coastal Commission hearing in Los Angeles. Joey even got quoted in the San Diego paper. This shows how fortunate we are that OCSD voted to voluntarily give up the waiver, thanks to the political pressure exerted by you all. We, the public, simply cannot depend on nor trust the regulatory agencies to require a clean ocean without a sewage waiver. In fact, the only avenue left for our friends in San Diego is litigation. I have taken the liberty of
