Dear Ocean Outfall Group (OOG):

I just heard from Sheri Tall of Assemblyman Maddox's office that Governor Davis has signed AB 1969. This is great news and means that the full power of the State will now ensure that the waiver will be gone forever. Thanks to Ken Maddox for his initiative and for getting and keeping this bill going, and to all of you volunteers for making this happen. In the end, this bill passed unanimously out of both the State Senate and Assembly. It was a remarkable achievement.
