May Seek Shield Against Water Lawsuits
One
of these days, the public will have to be brought into
the loop, as business is now being done in closed session,
where the public is excluded, such as last week's OCSD
Steering Committee and full Board of Directors meeting,
where highly placed brass from both the EPA and RWQCB
attended both meetings, but out of view of the public.
OCSD Director and Huntington Beach Mayor Debbie Cook walked
out of the Board of Director's meeting because she felt
it was an illegal closed session meeting to exclude the
public. Keep an eye on this saga.
Meanwhile,
this next Wednesday, October 2, is OCSD's OMTS (Operations,
Maintenance, Technical Services) Committee meeting and
Thursday is the OCSD PDC
