RE: SAVE HELLMAN MESA AND WETLANDS

March for the Ancestors was excellent, many signed up to help defend the sacred sites on Hellman Mesa and the Wetlands over which the Ancestors watch. Jordan David, the Native American Monitor who was "LAID OFF" after complaining about the illegal bulldozing, attended and spoke about the incidents, and how the Monitors had to work literally "...with tears in our eyes..." for the desecration going on.

Picketing continues, 4PM to 6PM every work day.

The project is still shut down, but the city seems to be using it as a dumping ground for dirt excavated from a sidewalk project.
