Dear Ocean Outfall Group (OOG):

Don't forget the monthly OCSD Board of Directors meeting tonight, Wednesday, October 23, 7 PM, and the Steering Committee meeting preceding the Board meeting, 5 PM. Address:usual place, 10844 Ellis, Fountain Valley, corner Euclid and Ellis, Euclid exit off 405 Freeway.

Interesting items are the review of the ocean discharge permit application, the increase in the Short-Term Ocean Outfall Bacterial Reduction project budget by $2 million to total of $7.4 million, the SARI line EIR/EIS contract, a GWRS budget increase of $35 million to $236 million, the GWRS Joint Cooperative Agreement, etc.

It is very important to stay engaged in the next few months as we make sure OCSD follows through on its commitments and stays the course on continued increase in treatment levels. The Board meetings are always the 4th Wednesday of each month. Much of the meat of the meetings is discussed in the Steering Committee meeting at 5 PM. The agendas are posted on
