Attached is a brief media release regarding yesterday's historic environmental victory at California's Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary. This vote, culminates the work of grassroots environmentalists, surfers, anglers, environmental groups, scientists and government agencies and gives the Channel Islands a chance to recover abundance and biological diversity, ( and protect a few surf sites in the process ).
