Dear Ocean Outfall Group (OOG), dedicated to ending the 301(h) waivers held by the Orange County Sanitation District (OCSD), San Diego, Goleta, and Morro Bay:

Forwarded are the Agendas and Minutes of the Metro Commission, who I believe acts as the counterpart to the OCSD Board of Directors, which oversees the MWWD (Metropolitan Wastwater Department, similar to OCSD) in San Diego, which deals with the sewage discharge situation in San Diego, including the 301(h) waiver and Point Loma Outfall (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

I have just started reading these Minutes and Agendas, but what strikes me right off the bat is the paucity of public comments, and that there are 13 agencies which make up the Metro Commission, much fewer than the 25 in Orange County. Thus a City By City Campaign in San Diego would only take half the effort we made in Orange County.

Think about how we are going to approach getting rid of the San Diego Waiver. Any ideas?
