Well folks, the battle for the Sea off Southern California is heating up even further! Use to be, that the Orange County Sewage District -bad as the dumping was- was at least keeping to the letter of the law, but....Now, they are so up against a wall of exploding public anti- waiver sentiment, that they are actively engaged in Brown Act violations, as they illegally shorten the amount of time the public can speak, and have even gone so far as to make us all WAIT until 10:30 pm to get a CHANCE to speak!! So much for honesty and decency.....oh yeah, and the LAW, too! In Tustin, the public was actually limited to only ONE MINUTE EACH! And the meeting before THAT, the Sewage mongers actually LOCKED THEMSELVES in a ROOM, waited for 2 hrs for some of us to LEAVE, and THEN took public comments!
