Save the Oak Tree known as "Old Glory" in Santa
Clarita under attack by JOHN LAING HOMES
-----------------------------------
URGENT: TUESDAY 12 NOON TO 1 P.M. PROTEST AT JOHN LAING
HOMES HQ
Hand out faxes and carry signs.
More
than 60 people spent sunday night with "Old Glory",
and over 100 were present Monday morning at the tree.
The
protest at John Laing Homes HQ started at 9:30 a.m. and
ended about 1:30 p.m. Many passerby were supportive, many
honked or waved, and many signed petitions and/or received
handouts to FAX to Lawrence Webb, CEO of John Laing Homes.
You
can print off one of those handouts, it's on http://SealBeach.org/ogho.htm
(for old glory hand out)
People
kept joining the protest, most staying to the end, some
having to leave while others had just found out about
it.
