USA TODAY (page 18) has a great story entitled 'Upgrading vets cemeteries
an uphill battle'... In one paragraph it states "In 120 year old
PRESCOTT NATIONAL CEMETARY in Arizona, the homeless are using a picnic
table for shelter".....Well, God sakes!! I've got the answer!! Let's
just take down that stupid old statue in New York Harbor that says "Give
us your poor".
Gee, I'm such a problem solver!

STRANGE FELLOWS:
News flash!! ...OSAMA BIN LADEN and ELVIS PRESLEY were spotted last Friday
at a 7-11 in Waukeegan, Ill. !! The President has a plan to BOMB IRAQ
in response, and sent a stern warning to Graceland.

In Spain, thousands of tons of oil are washing up on the shore, but no
problem, a sub shows NO LEAKING from the submerged tanker. I guess EVERYTHINGS
JUST FINE.

IRAQ-
Well, at least we know we've got the right people on the case... We've
got Henry 'PENTAGON PAPERS' Kissinger on point, and our weapons inspectors
are dressed in leather with whips and chains (one of 'em, anyway). Oh,
that Saddam better behave!!

Good News...
In Pittsburgh, a ZOOKEEPER was prodding an 18 year old elephant prisoner
to keep her moving while she waited for her 3 year old calf, and he prodded
one time too many. (*s-q-u-i-s-h!*) 'Nuff said!

Off the coast of Florida, an angler hooked a large SHARK, who then pulled
him into the drink. The SHARK apparently still made it home in time to
watch the people fishing channel. The Coroner said the cause of death
was - drowning.

Orange County Register, Nov. 23rd...
The headline: "WAR MAY GIVE STOCKS A FIGHTING CHANCE" It went
on to say "The length of a sustained market rebound would depend
on the length of the conflict"
......................................................................
Most incredible statement...
While arguing for the gov't to be able to bomb sensitive bird habitat
in the name of security, a gov't lawyer recently argued:
"This
is actually good for bird watchers, because it makes birds rarer, and
bird watchers get more enjoyment seeing a rare bird".
Folks, this man needs to be... well, darn it, I'm too afraid to go any
further. Homeland security might be listening. They have 40 Billion a
year to waste now on stuff like that y'know.

IRVINE, Ca.-

jumping beans, we are at the corner of BRISTOL & JAMBOREE at the headquarters
of JOHN LAING HOMES in IRVINE every day from noon to about 2 pm, so make
