Demonstrations resume in front of John Laing Homes Newport Beach HQ starting today. Please call, write and maybe come out and join the demonstrators. Directions
are on http://LAWetlands.org the HQ is on the NW corner of Jamboree and N. Bristol, one block in. Take the 73 get off at Jamboree (prior to TOLL ROAD), turn left on
Jamboree, then left on N. Bristol. Dove St. is the first right.

RE: John Quigley and the Santa Clarita oak known as "Old Glory"

This morning at 2 am John Laing Homes came in with the police and private security company and sealed off Old Glory, leaving John Quigley trapped in the tree with no ground support. They also removed his tent. Clearly the plan is to get John out either by force or by dehydration.

John was interviewed live on Channel 5 this morning at 7 am and is sounding in good spirits. But how long can John last without water and sanitation?

 

  

I suggest we swamp Supervisor Michael Antonovich's office this morning with phone calls/faxes/visits. It is clearly Antonovich's responsibility that this issue cannot be resolved peacefully.
