Like the so-called "Sandover" development on top of ORA-86, the current plans call for building on top of ancient village site ORA-83 (and the area known as the poleyard). Similarly well-heeled residents now want to "privatize" water away from the modest city of Cypress. One Sandover resident called in SCE to figure out why he was using 2500 kwh of power each month. After being assured that he could cut down, the profligate said, "no", he wanted it that way to please his "trophy wife"! So money means nothing to some people, and stealing poorer people's water may be part of the KOLL plan. Seal Beach Planning Commission meets 7:30 P.M. Wed. (tomorrow) in the Council Chamber, 211 8th St., in Seal Beach. For directions, or a ride, call! Doug Back to T.O.C. 3
