Dear Ocean Outfall Group (OOG), dedicated to ending the 301(h) waiver held by the Orange County Sanitation District (OCSD):

Please calendar this next Wednesday evening, April 16, from 6 PM to 8 PM to attend a workshop for the entire OCSD Board of Directors, at OCSD headquarters, 10844 Ellis, Fountain Valley. This is a special meeting to bring the new Board up to speed with the full secondary treatment implementation plan and the capital improvement plan validation before submitting the new ocean discharge permit, as the current permit with the waiver expires in June of this year. We the public will also be informed as to the work and thought processes that have been happening the past 4 months that have shaped the way in which the OCSD plans to achieve full secondary standards within 10 years. This will be a learning session for the Board and the public, to be followed a week later, August 23, when the Board will approve the plans at its regular monthly meeting. The staff report for the April 16 Special workshop is attached. The basic schedule is:
