Hi,

Thanks to Tim Anderson for a revised story of the Goleta Outfall and how it relates to OCSD.
According to OCSD, there is a happy fish community at the end of the outfall; but look at the blasted terrain at the Goleta outfall, which is much smaller (7mgd vs. 240 mgd) and much less toxic (only 7% primary, OCSD is 50% "advanced" primary).

Goleta "biostitutes" at the Regional Board hearing had a "beautiful outfall" video showing fish, but not the outfall pipe. It was upstaged by the HealTheOcean.org video, which showed how the bottom around the pipe is really dead and destroyed, not happy at all.
