Dear Ocean Outfall Group (OOG), dedicated to ending the 301(h) waiver held by the Orange County Sanitation District (OCSD):

NEWS FLASH: AB 1969 was passed by the State Senate Environmental Quality Committee today on a 5-1 vote. This is an important first step in the Senate. The next stop is the Senate Appropriations Committee. Stay tuned. I welcome the state's help in solving this problem of the waiver. OCSD is adamant about keeping the waiver, and refusing to go to full secondary treatment of the sewage.
