Ocean Outfall Group (OOG), dedicated to ending the 301(h)
waiver held by the Orange County Sanitation District (OCSD):
A
spate of articles and editorials continue to be generated
about the victory last week, and also, about beach pollution
problems, and problems with California's water supply.
Also, the Daily Pilot printed a correction about quotes
from OCSD Director Mark Leyes, who made comments during
the OCSD meeting about a waiver being voted upon in 5
years, but that was before the vote which abolished the
waiver. Therefore, the possibility of reapplying for a
waiver is rather remote. Apparently, it would take an
act of Congress for OCSD to get another waiver, which
by the way, is how San Diego got their waiver. Here are
